Reflections- Help!!! Love Hurts!!!
Love has been one of the most used and at times the most misused word in the entire universe. It is the only word that transcends cultural, social and even religious barriers. A very popular song by the Gaither Vocal Band sums it all up by the fact that "Love can turn the world". The several forms of love as stated by most scholars have been summed up as follows- Eros which is usually expressed between a man and woman in a romantic manner, Philos which exist between close friends and Agape which is of unconditional love. The expression of love in all these forms makes love an exciting experience when expressed in the proper context. The various stages of love have been summed up in the Bible and if you are a Christian like I am, we are called to express the love of God to our fellow human beings. This means that, we are to live the life of Christ on earth by expressing love to one another.
BY THE FIRESIDE-How The Dog Came To Live With Man
Long time ago, and in the far, far away land lived a pack of flesh eaters; a dog, a jackal, a wolf and a fox. They lived happily together in a valley, hunting and sharing their kill each day. This has been going on for a while but it became more difficult for them to get a kill. Desperation became the norm of the day as their kills gradually dwindled.
